Files Pro : Document Viewer App Reviews

The more I use this app--and I use it a lot!--the more impressed with it I am. It carries the docs and pdfs I need in minimal space, displays them easily and accurately, and permits me to add files dead easily. The cost is modest for a valuable tool like this one.

To be honest, the full potential of this app was wasted on me for the first few months of use. I use it here and there to read a few PDFs, and that was about it. Recently though, I realized all of the features this app had and was blown away. For reference to a previous comment, this app DOES let you create folders, just click on the edit button first (Seamed clear enough to me?). From the edit button, you can also mutli-delete, and multi-move files into folders, giving you full organization abilities. You can add files to the app though the server included, or just use itunes to drag and drop multiple files at once! (though the app tab of your device) Very useful app indeed!

It cant download PowerPoints or Word documents from Blackboard/WebCT, which is essential for any university / college student. It can download a PDF or from an email but its too much time to convert the file outside the app and then download it in the app. If it was 99 cents I would be happy with its capability. I like its interface and filing system. I dont suggest you buy this unless they fix the downloading ability or you work in only PDFs.

I use this app pretty much every day! Or at least whenever I use my iPod. The download feature is very handy, and the reader is great. Only thing more I could ask is the ability to create new documents rather than just viewing them, but I have another app for that.

I want to know why is it after every app update something is always missing. WHY CANT I ACCESS THE APP VIA ITUNES ANYMORE. Someone always screws things up.. Can you please fix this problem and post an update A.S.A.P Thank You..

Thank you for the latest update. For the longest time the app had a hard time with the PDFs I use. With the latest update the PDF viewer is much much faster. Thanks again

After the new update, it crashes all the time. I mainly use this app for reading all my PDF books, and now with the new update it crashes every couple hrs. And when I reopen it, it take me back to a much earlier page. Please fix this~~~~~~~~~~

Youll find tons of uses for this and it works reasonably well. The WebDAV and web server functions often dont work. Other that that, its great.

All this app needs is to able to also use a VPN connection the iPhone makes as a web server to pull files like that from across a globe. You guys remember that as to fixing that little issue

Very happy with i wish there were support for ipad too dropbox also a very good add thumbnails would be nice too i used it with iphone 2 and worked good even on XP

Particularly the password protection feature

I bought this app first for my iPhone, now use it on iPad. Lots of features, options, and very few negatives. I have noticed it does not display in other apps as "open in..". This would be the best feature, as I could then replace several other apps! Maybe coming in an update? I would even pay more to get that feature.... Hint hint. Then it would definitely rank a 5 star rating!

You can download music right to the app and sync it to your computer via iTunes or you can map a network drive through the WebDAV server. Views many files and has many options. Has good security Deserves 5 star, but please add the dot unlock for passwords. :) And love the new servers but please add BOX And for the person that cant access their stuff from iTunes: You have to move the files into the PUBLIC folder.

Sorry, I loved this App. Now, it takes more time to transfer my files from my Mac to my iPad.

Still really love this app, but recently Ive been having some stability issues. When transferring files to Dropbox, the app frequently crashes. When syncing to Dropbox (Im in offline mode - so I sync files so I can fetch them offline, not just to see new files, takes a bit more effort on the apps part), the program also crashes sometimes. Doesnt seem to be a rhyme or reason when, Ill try doing the same tasks 3 or 4 times and sometimes it crashes and sometimes it doesnt. Please fix these issues, I still really love this app and use it all the time, but this problem is really annoying!

The first app every apple user should purchase is files pro. Its amazing, does what i need, reducing my need to look for cables or irritating iTunes use. I download upload my e-books and pics to and from my pc to my pad with just some clicks. What more can i say! Its awesome. Just hope the dev creates a download all option in the browser system.
